Acorn Valley Outdoor School offers private and small-group ski and snowboard lessons for kids, adults, and families at three Ontario resorts: Mount St. Louis Moonstone in Coldwater, Glen Eden in Milton, and Lakeridge in Uxbridge. All instructors are CSIA or CASI certified. Lesson formats range from 1-on-1 private lessons to 1-on-4 family groups. Holiday camps run during Christmas Break and March Break, with lunch support and pickup service available. Private lessons start at CAD $248 for a 2-hour session.
Who it's for
Who winter lessons are for.
- Kids and teens. Most families start here. Lessons focus on balance, turning, stopping, and confidence on snow.
- Adults. Beginner and returning adult skiers and riders are welcome in private or small-group formats.
- Returning students. For students working on control, carving, confidence, and mileage.
- Families. Learn together in 1v2, 1v3, or 1v4 formats.

Christmas and March Break camps stay inquiry-based so we can match level, schedule, lunch, and pickup needs.
- Camp teaching blocks: 10:00-12:00 and 1:00-3:00
